About the role:
We are seeking a highly creative and talented Video Editor with basic videography skills to join our team. As a Video Editor, you will be responsible for editing and creating engaging video content for various platforms such as social media, websites, and marketing materials. You will work closely with the marketing and creative teams to ensure that the videos are aligned with the brand's vision and goals. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, be detail-oriented, and be able to work under tight deadlines.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Edit and create high-quality video content for various platforms such as social media, websites, and marketing materials
- Collaborate with the creative team to ensure that the videos align with the brand's vision and goals
- Manage and organize video assets and maintain a library of footage, audio, and other media
- Create and edit motion graphics and visual effects to enhance the video content
- Review and provide feedback on video content produced by other team members Ensure that all videos meet the technical specifications and are optimized for various platforms
- Create thumbnails when needed
REQUIREMENTS:
- 5+ years of experience in video editing and production
- Proficient in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci or others
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to take direction and feedback from the team and clients
- Knowledge of video compression, encoding, and delivery workflows
- Portfolio of work showcasing video editing and production skills
